OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Martin Choy
Dr. Martin Choy graduated from California State University of Long Beach with his bachelor of Kinesiology with an emphasis on athletic training in 1995. For eight years, he spent implementing and developing training protocols for athletes and fitness enthusiasts that focused on post-rehabilitative exercising, sport specific training, and weight loss.
Dr. Choy was very fortunate in working with elite athletes that included players from the Chicago Bears, San Jose Stealth, Daly City Renegades, and San Diego Chargers. Feeling the need to broaden his knowledge in Health and Wellness, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose and graduated in the spring of 2006 and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Choy began his chiropractic career at San Diego Family Chiropractic where he worked for three years. During those three years, he joined the San Diego Chargers staff as an associate chiropractor for the team where under the direction of the head athletic trainer treated the players during the games and practices. Currently living in the San Gabriel Valley with his lovely wife, Jennifer, he now enjoys establishing a family practice with an emphasis in sports injuries in
Pasadena.
Dr. Choy has served the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce in La Jolla as treasurer. He served as treasurer and vice president for the associated student body and a campus guide at Palmer West Chiropractic. He also is a certified CPR instructor for the American Red Cross in which periodically will volunteer his time teaching classes. He enjoys swimming, running, and scuba diving.
